GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The staff and administration is great. They will help you with all the questions you have. The kids are very clicky. Either you get along with them or you don't. But overall the school isn't the greatest. The sports culture isn't all that great, kids aren't that great. But staff and administrators are amazing people.

My time at harrisonville high school has been pretty good. There are plenty of amazing teachers that can help with things from science, math, and art to even your college journey. I think academics could be better in terms of variety, but it is such a small school it's already hard to have enough to gain more teachers. I didn't really have anything bad to say about this school other than a lack of respect for teachers from the students.

I have been a student at Harrisonville High for the past 4 years. I love the opportunities for participation that are given to us students. Many clubs and various groups are offered to provide students with extracurricular activities.

Far more opportunity, whether it be for a class or just something to do from the school. Plenty of sports and activities, too.Though, be warned that a lot of the students here are a...

I was concerned when we first moved here. I had been involved in our district in Colorado. My child struggles to make friend and fit in. Our 9th grade year was concerning in that she had one person she visited with by the spring of her 9th grade. She liked her teachers and enough so that we did not...
