I've loved going to high school at West Central. I've been going there my whole life, and, although my experience hasn't been perfect, I wouldn't change it for the world. The extracurricular activities are great, and teachers truly try to prepare students for college. However, I don't think administration does a good enough job keeping the school safe and being involved with their students. If they want students to respect them, then they need to respect students and earn their respect. Many teachers are high quality, and they seem to actually care about their students. I've had teachers that have definitely changed my life. Especially Advanced Placement teachers, they truly do a great job teaching and giving resources to students so they can use their knowledge in practice. I would love to see more passion from staff. Students' enthusiasms have dropped over the years because their successes aren't celebrated like they used to be. With these changes, West Central can improve.

West Central High School is a very well rounded school, it has many different opportunities to join clubs and sports. On top of that West Central High School has a very well rounded academic system, meaning if a student were to need help they could easily access it.

I was bullied quite a bit thorough my years here and West central isn't very inviting, but when you find something you love to do it becomes a decent school to go to.
