Hoover is... janky. If you fall in with the right crowd, you can learn a lot and do amazing things. That being said, it's easy to get distracted and lose interest. A lot of great people and teachers are at Hoover, but it can be hard to find those people.

Am a 7th grader as of now, there are fights almost everyday and not only that but so called "gangsters" have gangs inside the school which is crazy to me.
