Over my time at Challenge, it as been monumental in preparing me for college with first hand experience in college courses, as well as rigorous AP classes as well.

As a senior of Challenge Early College High School I have been here 4 years of my life. My family says this is the families high school . My cousin had attended challenge , when I was a high school Freshman she was a high school senior . Currently my sister is also a high school freshman now that I am a senior . When I came in I was unsure if I would like the school because all my life I have been in large grade school and switching to a small one was not my idea. I always dreamed of having a high school experience but my parents thought otherwise . As a first generation Hispanic woman I believe I can change the narrative of my bloodline. My parents wanted me to get a head start in college while in high school . Which is what Challenge offers , it was hard to keep up I still tried my best for me and for my parents . Even though I wanted to go to a large high school I still came to Challenge and I don't regret it . Now four years have passed and I am one step away from graduating.

Teachers were excellent at finding what the student needed for success, putting a plan in motion and following up. Counselors were positive and built on strengths. The whole staff was encouraging, cheerful and convinced of each student's abilities. Students received lots of coaching on college appli...
