The teachers at Gage Middle School are average. Some teachers do not care for students education and other teachers are very caring.

During the time I attended Henry T. Gage Middle School, it was one of the most populated middle school in the city. The majority of the student body consisted of Hispanics as it was established in a Hispanic community. There were many cases of gang related fights that broke out and very often there were random searches that involved the K-9 unit and metal detectors.

There were some after school activities, such as sport tournaments. However, not many clubs were given promotion, other than Leadership. The level of commitment from students was consistent. If a dance was to he held, students would make sure that everything was organized and fun for others to participate.

I would rate this school a 4/5 because it is not a bad school and the bad fame that it has, it is the certain students that come to do school that represent the school as if it is bad which it is actually not.

My child will be entering this school for the first time and although this ws not our first choice we are glad she was accepted to the STEM- Magnet program. We have high expectations for our daughter as well as for the school. We do not expect the school to do everything and we will be willing to vo...

This is a great place to learn. The teachers here are hard workers and don't let anybody slack off. They are constantly enforcing the importance of the future and how to improve it. It is a fun loving school which is like a home away from home.
