What I liked about Huron High School was the great teachers and the size of the school was not big, which I enjoyed. The ability to find people who actually care in the school is scarce. The school's small population would make the each grade have many small cliques and people are not very accepting here. High school can be great, it can be the first step into adulthood. Did your school prepare for the real world you will face when you graduate. I almost 3 months from graduation and I don't know how to buy a home, how do taxes, how to properly pay a bill. I believe most schools just wants to move kids from grade to grade, and then get their benefits and summers off. School is a harsh place and almost every person I've talked to says one or two things, "I'm so glad I never have to do that again" or "You will never use that in real life". I hope in the future that my children will have a different attitude about school, and I can tell them how good they have it.

the teachers were very good at helping succeed in school work and testing. I really liked the school and my subjects, and found them very fun and challenging. I thought the food was good. The staff were nice and helpful. Honestly the only problem was my peers (the students) SOME were un-inclusive and rude. Some were also rude to teachers and not respectful. Other than that, my experience that i have had so far with the school was good.

The guidance staff were not helpful with college readiness. Other than that and being extremely bias toward the best, the school was okay.

The worst case of bullying I’ve ever seen and they always turn a blind eye. They don’t offer enough classes for students and push college more than anything else. Overall bad experiences with this school I had to transfer.

I am a graduate of this school who is studying to be a teacher. I can say that for the small size of Huron, this school provides ample oppertunites that my colleges who went to small schools did not have! I was prepared for my college educate well and was supported by mostly caring teachers, great c...
