My experience in Van Horn High School has been one of the greatest 4 years of my life. Although there was definitely many ups and downs the stuff I learned and experienced was really worth it. When it comes to academics my teachers helped me a lot and there so many clubs and sport to be a part of. Overall it's a great experience and happy to have gone there.

Van Horn has lots of after school activities, gives many opportunities for their students. There's not a lot of helpful people here. Students aren't all that dedicated as much as I am to my academics, which kind of sucks.

I wanted more advocacy for the minority groups in my school. It would've made me more comfortable. Also, I'd like it if there were more clubs and a better general environment.

during covid nobody wears masks, teachers and staff are ok, none are great but some are just completely awful. a lot of smoking/vaping/drug use during the day. I love this school for my son, He is doing well and thriving ! The staff and administration are helpful and thorough. Its clean, safe and the diversity is awesome. My son enjoys going to school and is always talking about how he enjoys his ROTC coach.
