When I first moved to Irvington I was a little nervous but all the teachers and some students made me feel welcome. The teachers that are there are incredible. I appreciate all of them helping me when I need it.

The staff were attentive and good, but as for the student body. As from my experience you'll meet some interesting people there but it has become the dumping ground for some problem kids of other districts. That said, they were given the time and attention needed to do well. Other than that it was pretty good.

I liked that the school was smaller and had a decent amount of teachers. I think that aloud for a lot of student to teacher interaction. I would like to see them put more classes in for different majors.

Irvington Community Schools is a small charter school on the Eastside of Indianspolis with many wonderful families. The teachers genuinely care about the students and work hard. We have been part of this Charter since they opened. We loved the elementary school, the middle school is horrible, the highschool is mediocre.

Overall the school has done a pretty good job. Son is in first grade and comes home with homework most of the time. He has had a slight issue with 1 or 2 kids bullying him, but seems to have stopped. They do have after school YMCA aftercare for a modest fee. They have three pick up times to come get...
