GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I would like to see the facilities changed or upgraded as I believe our school pours its money into the wrong things.

My experience was none other than the best I was heard when attending and I was able to graduate to my best abilities.

I just started at first coast to finish off my Highschool years, I don't regret my choice when it comes to the people I've connected with but I just wish there was more ambition put into having kids succeed. The staff talk about it all the time but barely or very rarely put out the resources for kids to actually do better and be better. Expectations are always said but the adults are not doing what they really can to make sure these expectations are met, they care more about what you're wearing or what you have on rather than what they can do to help you succeed, all of this isn't necessarily on the adults either ! Just to make that clear, in order to be better you have to want to do better and a lot of kids at this school do not want to do better at all and it's really sad to see because I want my peers to succeed and I try to push them to but at the end of the day it's about what you want to do for yourself.

First Coast is a great school! They care about the students, and they support the staff where necessary. They prepare students for college, and for those that don't want to go to college, they are prepared for the work force. I love this school!
