There are metal detectors when you enter the school. The music programs are good and the sports are popular. Overall the school is good but not without its issues.

White oak High school has been a great experience for me as an upcoming senior, the diversity is great, but the safety is a big issue. Safety has gotten better now that we have metal detectors this year. I learned countless new things and feel like I am very college ready.

White oak was definitely an interesting place. Very convenient to attend. I had a friend that went here and now he is at UNC so it can be very beneficial to education. It definitely embraces a public school environment.

THEY MADE US WAIT OUTSIDE FOR ALMOST AN HOUR IN THE FREEZING COLD JUST TO GET INSIDE, WHILE THEY TOOK SHIFTS TO BE OUTSIDE WITH NO PRIOR WARNING THAT THIS WOULD HAPPEN

overall it isn’t necessary a bad school however it does have its flaws with teachers being disrespectful towards students and a lack of counselors caring for the other students.
