The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The diversity of this small school allowed me to branch out and reach my greatest potential as a student and an overall woman in general. Although I did not always enjoy my time spent there with the other students, I am thankful for my experiences and would choose the same path for me again.

There are a variety of subjects taught at WHS and multiple classes to most subjects. The school is good at placing those who need extra help in the right class and those who are advanced in the right class. I rarely experienced a workload that I couldn't tolerate. The teachers are very understanding, yet firm in their instructions and discipline. The scheduling process can get hectic but changes can be made within a reasonable amount of time.
