I think it is a good school. I have had a positive overall experience with clubs, sports, and classes. I am happy that the free lunch and breakfast has continued this year.

As a student at LCHS, I do admit it's great education-wise. The teachers and staff are amazing, and the administration is great. However, what it's actually like when you consider your peers, is a little different. As a queer person, I've seen a lot of homophobia and transphobia casually passed around like it was nothing. A transgender friend of mine was recently targeted and bullied for expressing her gender identity. Not even from a queer standpoint, the students aren't amazing. There is fat shaming, bullying, ableism, and an obsession with social media from most kids. I don't think this is necessarily the school's fault- La Canada High School is great but I wouldn't recommend it to a lot of people, especially kids with anxiety like me.

The classes of La Canada High School are very small, making for a close-knit community. The staff are friendly and the teachers are excellent.

The reason this school district is consistently at the top of all rankings is parental involvement with a top notch faculty. La Canada is renowned for its schools, and that is a primary reason why real estate is so valuable in this community. If you don't have school age children, there are better v...

Let’s just be clear. The reason the school is rated so well is because the parents are very wealthy. Many are extremely wealthy. And colleges LOVE full pay wealthy parents. They prefer them! So when they see LCHS on the collleg app they get excited. The other reason why La Cañada high school student...

The school is in a nice neighborhood and very safe. People are friendly. There are many bright kids in every class, so it's a school for kids want to be challenged. Education is solid 5. But I was not happy about the students lost work-life balance and were forced to do homework after midnight. It w...

This could be a really awesome school, except for the utter weakness of the administration, in particular, the Principal. My daughter is in 7th, and has to put up with a completely out of control boy who demands attention non-stop. He broke a chair today catapulting another friend, in class. He jump...
