GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

A great school, everybody is very nice. Great opportunities for higher-level courses at the school and through the running start program.

LaCenter High School is a great school for kids. It provides a personal learning space where students are the main focus. The classrooms are a healthy environment with few kids. Students are provided with extra help if needed and are made sure to be understanding the material. Sports teams are growing in success.

Since our school is so small and not within an extremely large city, our school does not hire policemen or armed guards to monitor the building. We also do not have security cameras that record film, they only show actual time. This is because nothing major ever happens at our school; the administrators are constantly roaming the school in case a random scuffle breaks out in the halls or someone litters, but we have never had a serious threat to the safety of our students.
