There are so many amazing reasons we love Dawson but probably the biggest is the relationship with the teachers. Dawson is a place where the teachers really know the students!

If you want a small school where all the teachers know your name and you can name every student on campus, Dawson is for you. The administration may not be the best, and many students tend to be rich and annoying, the education is great, and you will likely find many good friends. Athletics and clubs are fun to participate in, and speaking your voice becomes easier as you realize its the same 50 kids you've known for years. Also, the campus is amazing and the food is better than most colleges.

Its not a very diverse school which has its very serious drawbacks but it prepares you very well for college

Beautiful campus and facilities with small class size. Very limited social pool to choose from as the middle and upper school grades range from approximately 40-55 kids a grade. I have a daughter in 8th grade and a son in 7th grade that started at Dawson in March 2023. While middle school can be challenging they have really enjoyed the small class sizes and experiences that Dawson has to offer.

My child regressed in math after three years in the lower school. The teachers didn't seem to detect this.
