GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best parts of my experience at Lebanon High School is the community engagement and the drive to succeed from the community. So many people come together at all of our events to help make it safe and fun for the students. The worst parts are the lack of diversity. There really is not much diversity in the school or classes. I would like to see that change.

Lebanon High School is a pretty good school, however there are quite a lot of fights and not much diversity. The academics are diverse though, and the teachers are passionate about what they do.

Before Covid happened, my experience in high school was amazing. The classes made it very easy to make friends, and the teachers encouraged it. Most of the teachers there actually do care and want you to graduate and are willing to help you get there if you put the work in as well.

If you have an average child that fits the average school model, then they will do okay at Lebanon. Those are all the families that say it is so awesome. Their kids do well and play sports and all is well in the world. BUT, if your child has a 504 for health issues and misses a lot of school for med...

LHS has an overall excellent faculty and that is why I think it continues to receive excellent rankings both from the state's board of education and from alumni. Schools ARE a priority in Lebanon - just look at the tax levies that continue to pass year after year and take a census on how many parent...
