Through four years of high school I have had good and bad moments with Lee's Summit North. Our schools safety was very questionable for about two years with outbreaks of fights causing students and teachers harm. However, I have had really great teachers at our school who do their job really well and care for their students.

I started my years in high school during COVID-19. It was one of the hardest things I have ever been through, mentally, physically, and emotionally. It was such a big change for the entire world, and I felt so out of place. I didn't start going to in-person classes until my junior year of high school, and honestly, it was such a complete change. Since everyone was so out of touch, there was so much getting used to. A lot of the time, I did feel alone. None of the teachers ever helped until a student is completely in a hole. Of course, there is a couple of teachers who loved their jobs but if it wasn't for them... I don't know how I would have made it thorugh.

I truly believe that they should have harsher consequences for starting fights because clearly students are not det...

Like all schools there are good and bad teachers but in my experience at Lee's Summit North most of the teachers are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their subjects. The bad teachers are the outliers. This school has a lot of great programs and things to be evolved in. The administration has its...
