The Legacy Traditional School is a free public charter school located in Glendale, Arizona. The school serves over 1,000 students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Students attending the school are largely from the Arrowhead neighborhood.
Founded in 2007, the Glendale location is a branch of the Legacy Traditional schools system, which also has schools throughout Arizona as well as in California, Nevada and Texas.
The school’s mission is to develop all of the child's characteristics that help cultivate success, creating well-rounded students. The school carries out its mission by incorporating nontraditional educational programs into its curriculum. Some of those programs include their Mozart Performing Arts program and the Momentum Fitness Program, which provides students with 30 to 50 minutes of daily exercise.
The sports teams are called the Gladiators and include a wide range of athletic activities, as well as Cheer.
Legacy Kids Care (LKC) provides after-school enrichment programs.
67% of the Glendale Legacy Traditional School students scored at or higher than the proficiency level for math and 73% scored at or above the proficiency level for reading.
The Legacy Traditional School invests in the students' futures by providing state-of-the-art facilities at each of the locations. The schools feature high-quality gyms, full kitchens, music labs and smart classroom technology.

I have been going to Legacy Glendale since I was in the second grade. The school started off amazing like its other campuses, but it gradually became worse and worse. Right now (2023-2024), there is a shortage of teachers that is affecting the Jr. High grades. If I could rate this school on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it a 3 only due to the fact that this school has good, advanced academics.
