STEAM Academy is a great school if you're determined to work hard and challenge yourself. STEAM Academy is a high school that prepares you for college, and it's not like every average high school. At STEAM Academy, you take 5 classes per semester, and then in the 2nd semester, you get a new set of classes (if you pass) just like in college. It's a hard school, but if you're determined to pass your classes, you can get your associate degree by the end of high school.

My overall experience at STEAM Academy is very good. All of the teachers and students are very nice. The teachers do everything they can to be able to give us the most opportunities and experiences we can get. Such as taking college courses on BCTC's campus. Also we are encouraged to participate in a half day internship with a career path we would want to pursue. This helps us understand if we want to continue in this career path or find something else we would be more interested in studying in college.

STEAM Academy is an amazing college preparatory school that offers astounding opportunities to each of its students. Students are able to participate in internships and take dual credit course to get a glimpse of what is to come in college.
