GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The classes, specifically honors and AP are very enriching and engaging. The sports programs are funded in unequal ways.

It is a really good school and it has amazing class opportunities. I always felt like my voice was heard in and out of the classroom. My only complaint was sometimes the community. I say sometimes because most of the time I did feel connected with my peers and felt as though we weren't just bullying each other. Sometimes I felt though the way that discipline was handled wasn't always the best and I felt like it didn't do much. The school has amazing activities and atmospheres I always felt like I belonged. I felt finally comfortable in a learning environment and the staff there are so amazing. Overall I think out of all my options it's got to be one of the better high schools

At Dakota Ridge, the teachers all genuinely care about your learning experience. It's so easy to focus on grades and not the process of learning, but here the teachers genuinely build relationships with you to enhance that learning experience.

They have a lot of rules other high schools do not have and the teachers are much better at Columbine. The school lacks leadership and needs to have the administration replaced with qualified staff

I had a surprisingly bad experience when I broached the issue of my daughter being bullied in band to the point that she has considered quitting. I expected to be heard and my concerns addressed, but neither occurred. Bringing the principal into the conversation didn't help. I'm still bewildered by...

My kids are in IB program and I am very happy with it. They are challenged academically but also given the opportunity to get help if they are struggling with any classes.
