in my first year at Cathedral, I had no idea what I was getting into, my initial thought was that I was going to struggle to make friends or fail in all of my classes. I was proven wrong in such a short amount of time it was honestly scary. I soon learned that my teachers cared about how I was feeling or why I fell behind on certain things and excelled at others. Most of my classes were easy to understand and offered the right amount of challenge. we also had lots of great events, like a yearly carnival and a food festival to celebrate multiple cultures in the school. you're taught all these values at Cathedral and most are guaranteed to stick with you into the future. Its a great school and I am willing to promote it as much as I can.

The last 4 years at Cathedral High have been an amazing one. The class sizes are small so the teacher to student help is great. The school itself is small so we do not struggle getting around vs a big campus. The downside is that the baseball program does not have a field and I wished we had wrestling as a sport program. Also the drive it is right down the hill from dodger stadium so the parking and traffic can get tight

Cathedral High School was good to me. Cathedral taught me a lot about how to deal with the challenges and obstacles of life in a variety of ways. Overall it was a tough but valuable experience being there for four years.

Both of our boys attended, thrived and graduated from Cathedral (2013 & 2016). Both played varsity sports (Swimming & Water Polo). Both were accepted to top universities. Both graduated from Top Universities. Now...both are well into their respective careers. Cathedral provided a base of brotherhood...

My son transfered in from La Salle in pasadena. He was harrassed the first day he stepped on campus from a group of boys from 18th street gang trying to extort money from him. He feels lucky his second year was cut short due to covid

Race based profanity directed at Black students is common place. Our son and several of his friends were the object of such a verbal assault which to this day the administration still fails to acknowledge. The facilities are mediocre and the school is close to homeless encampments. Better not to pay...

If I could give no stars i would. Your child will learn to swear and cuss. If gender/race slurs offend you, there is a whole new world of hurtful here. My Catholic hopes were dashed to the ground by acceptable behaviors. If you're looking for peace, keep looking.
