GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

DO NOT send your child to View Park High. The school is dirty, looks like a prison yard, there are fights left and right with no consequences. Subs in classes, including English and Math classes, some of the staff work hard but there's not enough of them. The scores are terrible, they are failing the kids. I pulled my child out.

Communication is excellent. They really make sure you get the information about your child and what's happening at the school

This school has provided me with many opportunities to grow and bask in my passions. They have given us access to many community events, education driven field trips, college counselors, etc. It is often overlooked as a good school but I feel that it has done a lot for me. I would like them to take a bit more time to pick and choose their teachers as some of them have not been so great.

With a high teacher turnover rate and home office throwing in random students that br...
