The teachers don't typically sugar coat and will say things as needed but usually never disrespectfully. School desperately needs funding and is being overrun by the charter school wish. School is pretty lenient with kids when comes to disciplinary action.

I have been at Westchester Highschool since 9th grade and I'm finally graduating from 12th grade in June which is really amazing I have seen so more growth in me and just building myself all the way up till now . What I liked about being at Westchester Highschool is the teachers and the peers they will always help you no matter what and will encourage you in anything you neee from them whether it's school wise or personal which is good . What I would like to see change is have more events planned out and activities to where students will be involved like other schools are doing the most activities right now .

The school is okay it's nothing really extravagant. The diversity is decent it's mostly minorities.

Westchester Enriched Sciences Magnets is a good school with supportive staff who really care about the students. Had no issues at Westchester High for both of my sons. Graduation year 2014 and both went to College.

I graduated in 86... Seems over quality of education has degraded since then.. based on test scores. such a shame
