The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

James Clemens has refuel which is an hour long lunch where you can do whatever you'd like. You can eat in the halls with friends, go to club meetings, or meet with teachers and counselors. However, refuel can easily be taken away for silly reasons.

Non-honors and AP teachers were terrible. They were always just random coaches. You had to take advanced classes to learn anything.

James Clemens is a pretty good school. Nothing phenomenally great nor horrible. There are good opportunities and many clubs and even the chance to start your own club. There is a good variety in sports all though the coaches definitely do have favorites. Most of the teachers are good but there are always a few that come with any school who aren't great.
Overall, James Clemens is a decent school. We get an hour of lunch to eat, study, or socialize. However, this hour is when staff supervision is at its lowest. It's the reason why so many fights break out every day. It's just a normal occurrence. The amount of fights and lack of supervision makes me...
This school was fantastic before the new superintendent took over. Now, it’s awful. The kids have only attended two full weeks of school in the past year. When they are in school, they do not attend the full class session due to unnecessary masks breaks. They are failing miserably online and the sup...
Fantastic school, so glad we moved into this school's district over some of the other options we considered. The school really goes above and beyond in their taking care of students, both in the classroom and in the athletic arena.
I can't say enough good things. My daughter had to be placed on homebound while at the school. The teachers and staff did all they could to keep her from falling behind in her credits. Only criticism is the lack of baton twirling in the extra curricular activities.
