GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I enjoy the classes and I like how I don't feel exhausted with school. However, the students do openly say racist comments. I just ignore it and move on with my day (it's just not worth my energy).

The faculty and staff are always striving for your success as a student. The teachers specifically prepare you for college-level courses by challenging you to your full possible extent. There is also a great family aspect to the school. Everyone treats you as one of their own and there is just a great overall culture to the school.

James Madison is a great school. The academics are great, North Florida Community College is right beside it. James Madison encourages its students to excel at anything they put their minds too, the bar is set very high. The Administration cares for you and really encourages students to not just pass, but learn so the information can stay with you forever. The only downside to James Madison is the faciality, it is not big enough for some of the class sizes.

Selling shotguns and AK-47s as part of a raffle to gain money is one of the most poorly thought-out, disingenuous, and quite frankly sickening tactics I have ever heard of a school performing. Pausing briefly after the Uvalde incident, but then resuming, shows lack of character and lack of FORETHOUG...

I overly love this school. Not from Madison, FL. Moved here almost 2 years ago, and put my son in this school. He went from all F's to A', B's and 1 C.
