GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I was in special ed for 4 years but I got a lot of help from all of my teachers and guidance counselors. I played football and I was bullied in the locker room, hallways, lunchroom and classroom. The biggest change I'd like to is for the bullying to stop

It's a real toss up on whether you'll get a good teacher or not. A lot of the teachers seem burnt out and over it. There's few that I think care about their student's success. The food is ok. They have a large variety of classes to take.

In my experience, I've always encountered good teachers. They treat you with respect, as long as you treat them with respect as well. Things I would change is the way the teachers teach; I'd like them to teach it to you in a variety of ways because everyone learns differently.

First of all, CCHS NEEDS to update their equipment. For example, the fire alarms are either broken or it's only in certain classrooms to where other classes can't hear the alarm on a fire drill. It's not even just the equipment, but it's some of these counselors and teachers too. If there's one piec...

CCHS is an absolute joke of a school. Terrible counselors, most of the teachers are sub-par, and the student body is filled with disgusting people. 90% of the funding is basically towards football and televisions. I do not recommend this school to anyone.

I went through the Coffee County School system from Preschool to the end of eleventh grade. I am now at my new school and feel as though I learned nothing. Here in Kentucky I have had to go back and learn stuff that they had learnt years before now. This school cares more about buying new TV's to pu...

We are a TN "Reward School" for 2012 -2013 and the only HS in the immediate area to have earned this award based on student performance and growth in scores. The Tennessee Department of Education thinks CCHS is pretty awesome and I must agree. It all wouldn't have been possible without the dedicatio...
