There's a bias towards those who play sports, over those who are great in academics and music. I felt like people who were talented athletically were almost "honored" more. Other than that it is a great school district.

A lot of parents and kids that go to this school take its education for granted. A great majority of the teachers excel at their job and teach their course material well compared to other schools in that area. Yes there may be little diversity and the kids attitudes towards education may be negative...

I like this school, but forget it if you're not in AP or advanced classes--in regents or "local" classes, the teachers couldn't care less... and neither could the students. On the other hand, AP teachers are top-notch, and their classes filled with students eager to learn.
