GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

At Mead, we have really great safety. The school is highly patrolled and administrators are always on top of any situations. Counselors and teachers start preparing you for post high school the moment you come in as a freshman.

Intense issues with both racism and class disparity between students. Mead has good programs and passionate educators, but the student body and school culture are terrible.

Mead High School has the opportunities of a large city school while being settled in a small town, giving you the best of both worlds.

This school has poor leadership and no compassion at all. The school administration issues punishments to students without investigating an incident that took place. The administration of this school also does not respect student’s explanation when they are asked to explain or provide a statement of...

Great school. In a well situated place makes for easy access. Teachers seem like they really care about their students! Most of the time there’s usually a couple that you can tell don’t. However I have not found that to be the case here. The facilities are nice. Overall I’ve been extremely pleased w...
