Memphis Rise Academy is a public charter middle and high school located just on the edge of Bartlett, Tennessee. Each year, the schools enroll approximately 760 students in Grades 6-12 from the northeast Memphis communities.
The mission of the Academy is to provide students with an excellent education and to encourage them to pursue ambitious goals so that they succeed in college. Students who want to expand their knowledge or get that extra boost before college can take advantage of the Student Resource Hub, where there’s a wide range of options to get help with scholarship information or elective courses. There’s even the Homework PowerHour, a quiet place where students can get their homework done, or even get an extra hand with their assignments.
There are several clubs and organizations offered at the Memphis Rise Academy, including Bytes & Bots, where students can learn to code and create their own video games. A few others are the National Honor Society, Philosophy Club, and the Medical Explorers of Tomorrow.

My overall experience with Memphis RISE Academy was an extraordinary experience since I basically saw the school grow as I was growing since it started in a tailor type of building. It also helped me achieve my goal of entering into my dream college. Even though it has its ups and downs, Memphis RISE Academy still at the end of the day helped me improve and helped me get ready for my life after high school.

I felt as if the teachers cared to much and would micro mange everything we did. That lead to a burn out in senior year and me not really wanting to be there.However they prepared us and gave us some of the best teaching and networking skills we could ask for!
