Snowden is a strong school in a strong neighborhood. Good optional program. K-8 is rarer in Memphis, and been a perk so far. Zero complaints about the school, staff, faculty, students, etc. Any brief minor issues are more symptomatic of the flaws within the county at large. The newest principal is great so far.

This yea has been the most disappointing, and my child has attended the same school for 3 years. At the beginning I addressed some concerns about how to tell when assignments and test were due and given. After many emails and phone calls there was very little improvement, in fact, it seemed to have the opposite effect with one particular teacher. I thought I was making efforts to support the teachers as they attempt to educate but I feel defeated because the school year is almost over.

This was one of the best schools I ever attended I had one English teacher who was a very lovely talented lady she took me in and taught me well she took me from making straight Fs to making Straight A's I received an award for akademiks for the most improved student a savings Bond for 1000 dollars...
