I love the student community at MHS and most of the teachers are very knowledgeable and care about their students. Meridian has such a great span of traditions that makes attending fun as well as educational.

Everyone is very nice for the most part. The teachers look out for you and most of them actually care about your well being. I would like the admission to not be so strict. They never let student council plan fun events. Things that other's school get to do (ex: senior assassin) we don't get to do but every other school in the district is doing it. I love that meridian does have so many traditions though because it's one of the oldest schools.

There are many kids who are ready to do school and a good community. The kids have fun and learn many life skills at this school. I have seen it change by being more open to the students' needs and assisting them when help is needed.

MHS does not get the rating it deserves. The family vibe, amazing teachers and wide diversity is the reason why all of my children went to school there even when we moved out of the boundaries. This school may not have the highest rating for "college readiness" but Meridian has many more career/certification pathways that they offer. Career Technical Education classes- a place where many students thrive.

So far I have had one graduate from this school and 2 more are right behind. Other than the one teacher, my kids have all had great experiences here. This school has come a long way and you can feel confident in sending your children here.

I really don't agree with their rule, "no hats or hoods". I mean, come on, it's cold even inside. When I'm cold, I can't pay attention, but sometimes people wear a hat or hood to express themselves; my hood is my personality. Overall, teachers are nice, very friendly.
