Early Beginnings Academy is an institution with a commitment to serving students with special learning needs from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. This charter school provides education for students within the Allapattah neighborhood and surrounding area. In order to best serve the students, the school is staffed with a team of professionals including physical, occupational, speech, and music therapists, as well as highly trained and experienced teachers and staff. With their knowledgeable staff, the institution seeks to “offer every student a holistic education focused on multi-sensory learning, meaningful relationships, guided growth, and artistic expression in a safe and compassionate environment.” Early Beginnings Academy also seeks to provide cultural diversity amongst the student population by cultivating a culturally responsive and compassionate school community. Through such efforts, the school aims to inspire greater creativity and curiosity in the students, and prepare them to be successful, contributing members of society.
To ensure that the vision and mission of the school are attained, the school invests in its teachers and encourages them to pull from their unique world perspectives to educate the students in their special style. This helps teachers to create healthy, engaging learning environments where they can fully challenge and nurture each student in an impactful way. EBA is a very good school. I am amazed with my child progress and development. I know when I drop my son to school he is in a safe environment. The staff makes learning fun and helps these babies thrive.
