The best parts of the school is how small it is. Due to its size, everything is very personal and things get down very quickly. The administrators and teachers are available to anyone during anytime. The sports program of the school, however, is very lacking. The only sport the school really excels at is boys soccer and basketball. The lack of sports participation and seriousness is due to the schools small size.

Cushman is my favorite place to be. I take interesting classes that are helping me get ready for college. It's a happy place to go to school. I have great friends that I've made here.

From Kindergarten to 5th grade, I would highly recommend Cushman. The middle school and high school leave a little to be desired, however. A large amount of teachers make students feel unintelligent by reprimanding them for genuine questions-- common responses being "How do you not know this" or "We already went over this." I find it very unprofessional coming from an individual whose occupation is to educate.

We didn’t have to wait more than a month to see the changes and progress she made in comparison to her previews school, where she was stuck regarding learning and social skills. I am sorry, she wasn't stuck, she was going backwards. For...

I feel blessed to have chosen Cushman for our children, it is a wonderful establishment. It is a safe place for children to learn and grow, socially and emotionally as well as academically. I think the approach to teaching is very laid back, yet children are expected to succeed and learn responsibil...
