I go to this school and I can say it is not the best. The teachers do NOT care about any students or their mental health. They only care about the work and getting them in trouble. Some teachers actually care about students mental health, but it isn't all, not even most. The counselors also claim it is a 'safe space', but they go on and tell the students parents anyway when the student confides in them. I mean if the students are coming to the counselor, it's clear they don't want their parents to know and they just need another adult to talk to.

Academics are not challenging. Children and staff are not welcoming of “outsiders”. Building is outdated.

When my daughter, who has only received A's since 2nd grade, asked if she could work ahead in math she was told that "She would run out of things to learn" if they allowed her to work ahead. People pay a huge premium to live in Middletown, and this school system has been ruined by No Child Left Behi...

A disappointment overall. Unfortunately, even in the Honors level courses, my daughter was not challenged. She had more homework in 5th grade.
