I was a very involved student. I did band for seven years and learned how to grow as a musician. Track was a sport that I fell in love with as it challenged me physically and mentally. I joined cross country too which was just as difficult. I also did robotics. All of these activities that I was involved in gave me lifelong friends and new hobbies to keep me happy. Milaca is great because it is a small school where you can be anything you want. You can be an athlete and also an artist. With most schools, you don't get the opportunity to be involved with multiple things at one time. I believe that is what makes Milaca special.

I love the teachers. I would like to see more involvement with the community. I wish there was more classes and activities to choose from.

I liked how the teachers are very intentional and they have this strive to want to know about their students. I want to see my school change in how they talk about and promote bullying. I think they are still lenient with what or what is not bullying.

It’s been a great four years! I wouldn’t want to move away. Great friends and relationships with the teachers. They really like to get to know you. Great band too!!!

Poor school system....that only cares about sports nothing else & all the drop outs can walk across the street for a G.E.D. to be tossed with an ineffective teacher.....
