Notre Dame School of Milwaukee’s Blessed Theresa Campus is located in the heart of Walker’s Point neighborhood, one mile south of downtown Milwaukee. The campus is home to Notre Dame’s Girls Middle School, founded in 1996 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame. It’s the only all-girls middle school in the city of Milwaukee, serving students in fifth through eighth grades.
Notre Dame’s curriculum promotes respect, responsibility and personal development. The school strives to prepare its students to enter a college preparatory high school. With an English and Spanish bilingual program, the Girls Middle School places an emphasis on leadership skills, critical thinking, social justice and making positive contributions to society.
The school’s educational experience includes a weekly Catholic mass and daily religion class. It also places an emphasis on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) curriculum that includes new technology throughout the school, an engineering curriculum and a STEM summer camp. Chromebooks are available for every student while all pupils also receive free lunch and breakfast, and transportation reimbursement is also available.

My overall experience at this school was very positive. Notre Dame Middle School is an all girl school that teaches young girls the values of the catholic church. I learned how to respect my peers and myself as well. This school teaches sisterhood, but also teaches you how to be independent and succeed in life.

Notre Dame is a small school with a family feel. Students can get an excellent education with enough support for a lifetime. The staff actually tracks students and alumnae beyond 8th grade and offers guidance for their futures in education.
