Capistrano valley high school is a good school. Freshman year was OK. The teachers were nice and welcoming, this was nice as a person that doesn't like to make lots of interaction. Then there was sophomore year, this year was pretty boring there wasn't much going on . Then comes junior year this new auto teacher help me learn lots about car and things around car. This gave me the will to go around and find new interesting things about cars and to make new friends that like cars. Also I was able to have more people interaction allowing me to make more friends even though I don't really talk in class. Then there is senior year, again we got a new auto teacher. He isn't as good of a teacher but still alows us to work on our own cars and teaches things we are interested in. The other teachers are also nice. I was also able to make even more friends in my sinor year. So in the end Capistrano valley high school is a good school that allows you grow.

Not a terrible school but I do wish there was more consistency within department. You're likely hood to get an A entirely depends on your teachers as they all have different extra credit and grading policies. Out sports aren't bad but definitely not the best so do with that info as you will. I know they are building a new football stadium next year so that should be really cool for our incoming classes

Excellent school with something for everyone. Very inclusive and accepting staff and students. My son went to a different local school and his experience was not nearly as good as my daughter who attends capo.

The Math an me English Departments have great teachers. Overall the school has been great but the AVID program is just not effective. This is disappointing as proper support is what these kids need.

Having experienced this school through the eyes of 3 children all on very different paths, we are very happy with the school. The principal and administrative staff do an excellent job communicating with families, and balancing academics with opportunities for students to connect to their peers and...

School is extremely outdated, has ongoing issues with rodents and sewage. Curriculum is a strong point of the school, however, teachers often seem to take the easy route instead of actually helping students learn material. Have gone here for the past 4 years and administration has not been the great...
