The school had little to no diversity, and it made those who were the minority feel less, as other students and faculty did not support their needs.

To maintain its reputation, Brightwood focuses on test scores at all costs. Expect high volumes of work including unending i-Ready assessments that mimic state tests. Homework is given with minimal guidance, even over breaks, and students who don’t “get it” are left behind. Pay $$$ for offsite tutor...

Both my children attended K - 8th and had wonderful experiences at Brightwood. My younger child recently graduated and we will all miss the Brightwood community and look back with fond memories. Do not recommend this school. Don't put your kid here. Kids aren't nice and are bullies. And also kids don't learn much.

Principal is not the best. Teachers are not invested or even enthusiastic about teaching. They are there to collect a check. There is no sense of diversity and principal makes sure that it stays that way. She will deny all incoming internal transfers. Give no reason what so ever as to why she’s deny...
