I enjoyed my time at Mt Pleasant it has been a place where one feels welcomed at all times by students, teachers, staff members, parents, and counselors. It has been a place where one is able to be themselves without being afraid of being judged as well as able to participate in any club for one to express themselves and do what one enjoys.

The personal and staff are very nice, polite and warm welcoming. The culture at school is really nice, it embraces all cultures.

As a public school, Mt. Pleasant High School provided a more safe environment that other high schools in the East Side. I never felt like I was in danger and the staff was always helpful and interactive with the students in class settings. I remember the campus improving in cleanness by the time I reached my senior years. I'm glad that the younger classes will have a greater experience than I did at Mt. Pleasant. Though I will say, the food is still my least favorite part about the school.

This school focused a lot on getting students involved with the community and giving back to the community when I was there.

I have a very smart student. I feel he is getting a good education and is working hard for his grades. The teachers make it challenging for him and his friends.

Some teachers have a closed door policy. Only two counselors for the school & never available. I feel really bad for students needing assistance & who R caught in the web of the system u r on your own.
