We have had a very positive expereience with Montgomery Bell Academy. I would highly recommend attending. My son will graduate prepared for college and as a true gentleman, scholar and athlete.

Overall the school did its job. It prepared me for college and gave a base to enter the world with. The over emphasis on sports and the lack of on the arts program, where I operated the most, must be criticized. The theater budget was far smaller that athletics and we had many restrictions put on the shows we did. There was also a lack of individualism and censorship in some areas. Overall, despite the negative words, I am glad I attended MBA, and I do as if it has been beneficial.

Fair. The school focuses on the few most talented students and athletes. Standardized test preparation is poor at best. College admissions counseling is poor. I can honestly say that my years at MBA were the best years of my life so far. I was given the opportunity to grow up and become a man at my own speed and in my own way. I only wish more boys could have the opportunity to experience the school as well.
