Sunnyside has been a wonderful school for our family for the past five years. The teachers are amazing (all have had masters/specialty degrees) and truly seem to love teaching and care deeply about the kids in their classrooms. My student has attended for three years post-covid, and have been so impressed by the support and the community behind this school. The staff is invested in the best interests of their students despite how difficult it has been for our world to recover from a global pandemic.

My daughter just finished 1st to 5th grade here. Some of the teachers were great, others average and a few that weren't so good. The school seemed to get worse as we went through the years and the grades. 5th grade was definitely the worst and it seemed like she came home and discussed the classroom...

Sunnyside has been a great fit for our family. I, too, am surprised by the low scores, as the school is so passionate and involved with the students. There is a low student/teacher ratio, and usually an additional teacher in each class to assist with reading or for assist children who speak English...
