This school makes me wanna crash out and cry because why do I have 3 midterms a in one day and the amount of homework I get for one day is insane

I love how many opportunities are given at New Utrecht high school with the plethora of AP classes you could choose from to the wonderful clubs that you could apply to, but the bathrooms and the hallways could get a bit unpleasant from too many people skipping and especially since after the cannabis unbanning in New York city there are more emerging cases of cannabis use in and around the school.

My experience in this school overall has been good. The teachers are all welcoming and teach their subject good enough for all the students to understand. The only thing I don't like is that when I want to change my schedule it takes a lot of time and the guidance counselors usually don't change it. I would like to see flexibility in the schedule choosing.

This school is terrible and refuses to take accountability for any wrongdoings that happen. They not only allow violence and assault to take place but actively cover it up. This school needs new leadership. They focus more on managing parent surveys than resolving the issues identified by parents. Zoom in a room in not in person learning.
