I like that the school is diverse. It would have helped to have more classes involving learning skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and animation which I would use in my future job. I think the school is changing from being an art-based school to a more general school.

Urban Assembly Maker Academy is a decent school for technology focused students, but fall flat in other subjects. There is absolutely no music or art programs for students to take part in and the school itself is not exactly the best. The girls bathroom is always messy and the sinks leak, as well as there being a leak in one of the celling's in the hallway. The teachers are very connected with their students and I believe that they try to their absolute best to accommodate any and all students.

Urban assembly maker academy has given me the chance to be myself that I was never given. The overall atmosphere is bright and welcoming and will make you feel like you belong instantly. I'm going to miss attending this school and all the opportunities it's given me.

Teachers are very supportive and most make thenselves available to their students. As a parent I have found that most are easily reachable and the school principal is quite accessible and has always responsive to any concerns that I have brought to his attention.
