As a part of the Chesterfield County School District, Beulah Elementary School serves just under 1,000 students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 5th. For the 2018-2019 school year, the Home of the Whales transitioned into a newly constructed building, and students helped create a time capsule to be opened in 2043 - after 25 years in their new home. This school has been, and still is, about building relationships between faculty, parents, and the community to support one another and foster educational success for all school students. This school teaches the traditional core classes - math, science, language arts, and social science; however, fourth graders meet state standards through a specifically designed curriculum surrounding their home state of Virginia. Known as Virginia Studies, fourth graders embark on a journey to learn about famous Virginians, and study historical documents and events that have helped shape Virginia’s rich history. There are various programs at this school to get students involved, as well as helping them academically and personally succeed. Girls on the Run is not just a running group for girls, but rather a group of young girls that come together for a curriculum-based program that helps character development for girls in grades 3rd through 5th of all fitness and ability levels.

To me the kids are not learning or not interested in learning. This just baffles me . With these type of scores should be frowned upon. The school board member...

This school is horrible if you have a child with disabilities. They have a protocol for bullying that give the bullies an opportunity to lie so they do not receive disaplinary actions. They take children with suicidal mental states as a joke. They have a few good teachers however the cons out weigh t...
