Meadowbrook High School is a public high school in Chesterfield County, VA that houses three specialty centers within the school for students. The Meadowbrook Academy for Developing Entrepreneurs has been developed for students who are interested in learning how to launch their own startups while still in high school. Meadowbrook also offers students entrance into an International Baccalaureate program that aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young individuals who wish to create a better world through intercultural understanding and respect. The last specialty school at Meadowbrook is unique. The Claude Moore Program is a piece of pride for the Chesterfield School District as it celebrates Meadowbrook High School’s honor at being the recipient of the Claude Moore Foundation Grant. This program works with the office of Career and Technical Education, Bon Secours, the Claude Moore foundation, and John Tyler Community College to provide a pathway into a healthcare career for students who desire to do so. The Home of the Monarchs is not just about academics. With school colors that are navy blue and old gold, students can proudly show their school spirit while exerting physical energy through the various sports offered at this school such as: boys and girls basketball, soccer, cross country, and golf. There is also a swim team, indoor track, girls volleyball, and football.

I had a good experience at Meadowbrook. My teachers were nice and taught me so much I still hold on til this day. I wish the safety was better as there's been incidents since before I left.

My best experience was finding out what to do after HS, and worse experience was doing a portfolio that took the whole year.

I just graduated from this school from class of 2022, this school is a joke…. From teachers not really teaching, to constant fights, constant students skipping class and the consulers not helping the students at all…. I don’t recommend this school one bit, there was even multiple times a gun was bro...
