Lighthouse isn't bad. They push a lot of liberalism into the work and hanging political ideas around that not everyone agrees with. There are a lot of fights. We recently got security so that's a plus. The teachers are pretty supportive but some take a while to re grade revised work. They provide office hours which is good. Lunch isn't bad but no halal or kosher options. Dress code is pretty free they have rules but no one follows.

I have been in lighthouse since 7th grade and now I am currently a Senior. It was a roller coaster trying to deal with this school because in the beginning I wasn't a fan of this school. The teachers always push you to do better and challenge yourself, and I wasn't up for the challenge. But as years pass by not only did I start feeling like I am part of the community, I grew more as a learner and a student. I didn't think I was ever going to like this school because it was challenging and I never thought I would go to college. This school really influenced my life positively and I totally recommend students to go to this school.

First of all, my mom thought Lighthouse was the same as it was back then but she was WRONG. I would NOT recommend this school. Lighthouse has been wonderful for our 10th grader. The staff is unlike any we have dealt with and our son is so excited to be apart of the environment. Tough to get in but well worth it.
