From the outside looking in people see Oceanside High School as "ghetto" but this is simply not the case. The school is mostly filled with close knit friends, people that want to excel in their sports, and people that want to discover what they want to do when they are older.

The best experience I had in Oceanside high school was my first ever prep rally it was fun and full of laughters and it felt like I was in high school musical it was honestly one of my greatest experiences ever. A worst experience I had in Oceanside high school was when I had fallen in a poodle of water in front of everyone. Some changes I would like to see is the teachers bringing more motivation to students who are struggling cause we never what a student is going through.

While there are some great teachers here like the nursing and childcare blocks, but there are many terrible ones. Especially the music program-stay far away. Those folks don’t put the kids first and are really unprofessional.

This school is horrible for individuals with disabilities. On the first day of school, the elevator was broken--staff insisted a student with a physical disability to use the stairs, which is an ADA violation. Academically, staff do not follow students' IEPs or needs, so parents must monitor closely...
