Elkhorn South high school is a school filled with excellent students whom are eager to succeed. Despite this, Elkhorn South lacks in diversity, under 20% of students are people of color.

Having a few years removed here are the overall thoughts of my time, at South you had everything you would ever need to succeed. Athletically probably one of if not the best schools in the state, and academically probably one of the best public educations you could be offered in the country. Big enough to have all of the resources you could ever need, but still small enough to get to compete in athletics and be part of a winner. Great place to be a kid.

The staff are very nice and they prepare me for the next step if my career. However, there is not much diversity at the school. Everyone is very welcoming and inclusive, but the resources for academics could improve. I wanted to move up a math class, but the option to test out of a class was not available. I think they could do a better job at providing additional resources.

Just an average school overall. But, Choir teacher is great, athletic coaches are all engaged in the kids well being.
