GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The staff are very nice and they prepare me for the next step if my career. However, there is not much diversity at the school. Everyone is very welcoming and inclusive, but the resources for academics could improve. I wanted to move up a math class, but the option to test out of a class was not available. I think they could do a better job at providing additional resources.

I'm not originally from elkhorn. I came all the way from Idaho. We had been really struggling up there and decided to move here. Immediately my mom wanted to get me in the best school possible. She did so much research and came to the conclusion that Elkhorn South High School was going to provide the best education I need. Being at Elkhorn South High School has given me an opportunity to be able to be who ever I am. It has created me into a person who is driven to succeed and I will forever thank Elkhorn South High School for my education and give credit to them because without this school, I wouldn't be where I am today.

Elkhorn South High School is a wonderful school for academics and college prep. Although it is a very safe school to attend, it also has very low diversity, which creates an unwelcoming culture.

Just an average school overall. But, Choir teacher is great, athletic coaches are all engaged in the kids well being.
