Oyster river is an amazing school for those who are getting ready for any future career choice they want whether that's college, jumping into the work force, or even the military.

Our son was intensely bullied. The school knew but didn't care at all, so we transferred him to a school in another district. We had to pay extra tuition and have longer commutes, but it was absolutely worth it. We encourage everyone to do so as well. No more should we endure the harassment brought upon us, whether by students that violently bully our children or the administration when they violate our rights to make us do what they want for their own selfish intents.

They pay attention to the least helpful aspects of the students day to day life, such as parent meetings etc.. when they really should be paying attention to the students mental health in safety.

Never ever choose Oyster River unless you want to risk your children getting bullied to death -- figuratively AND LITERALLY. Regardless of how many times parents and students have complained to the school about bullying, no progress is ever made. Many teachers contribute to putting students’ mental health at risk by assigning at least 3 to 4 hours of homework every day.
