GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Growing up in a small town like Bourbon County you get to know everything about everyone. As I walk through the halls of BCHS I remember things about my piers from elements school and how much they have changed. Bourbon county may have not gave me the best academic chances but they have taught me how to make connections and friendships that will last me all my life.

Some of the best parts of Bourbon County were the teachers from when I was in middle school-Sophomore year. As time went on, they began to leave the school for better opportunities. Now, we have teachers who seem to not care too much. Of course, there are exceptions, but the majority gives that energy. I want to see Bourbon be able to offer better opportunities for its students, more advanced classes, like AP, and more consistent administrative choices.

This school never helps people, I've gone to that office for issues and all I'm told is they'll handle it but NO they never do. They don't help mental health either.
