Overall, I enjoyed Ponderosa High School because I liked that it was a smaller school, and I liked my teachers and the classes that I took. I would really like to see administration and teachers prepare us for SAT a lot better and provide access to more clubs and activities.

It was a great school to have grown up in. There was many resources for kids looking for a secondary school. They also offer a lot of great opportunities for kids going to a secondary school. For example they offered a course like AP biology which was super hard but gave me a lot of preparation for what college will be like.

Some teachers are so amazing and really helped shape me as a person. Ponderosa has so many great classes including welding and auto, which give students real world opportunities. The programs at Ponderosa are constantly expanding for the better, as more and more classes become available for students.

Overall, I was very happy with the choi...

Don’t go. Little empathy from teachers and administrators toward students and parents. I’ve never been treated as unprofessionally and disrespectfully as I was by the drama teacher. What should be communicated in person is done through email.Teachers are resentful of the entitled kids who drive way...

Unfortunately this school lacks a positive and respectful culture. There are some good teachers such as those in AP/Honors English. Great drama Dept and teacher. But mainly there is a bare minimum effort by many teachers or perhaps they’re overworked. The staff teachers and students don’t seem to ha...
